Besides online presence The Curtain Rod Shop exists as a purpose-built showroom fully equipped to meet the needs and expectations of an ever-growing business and clientele. It is conveniently located in a commercial zone located in Houston, just outside of Sugar Land.

The Founder

The Owner, Faye Lespreance is an artist turned entrepreneur. She graduated from Columbia College with an Interior Design degree back in the 80’s. After graduation she returned home to Houston with high hopes of landing a job immediately; but that did not happen marking the turning point in her career.

Faye set out with offering her services for free to an upscale interior design firm, Eclectic Designs. As she proved her worth and became a valued employee, the firm finally did start paying her a salary. She stayed there for one year gaining the exact insight and experience she needed to start her own company.

In August of 1983 eventually Lespreance Interiors came into being. Having worked the way grounds up the company deservingly picked up some custom home builders. Providing end-to-end services; from roof tiles to the last piece of cabinet hardware for their contract and custom homes. Needless to say once the home buyer moved in the commitment carried over to helping them with their furnishings, window coverings etc...

All this time the passion for intricate window treatments deepened along with decorative drapery hardware, into an all-consuming niche. It was in 2003 that Faye decided to drop the home builders on panel and specialize in the very critical aspect of Home and Interior Décor i.e. Window Treatments.

Our Team

The CEO Faye Lespreance is backed by her energetic daughter Cassidy Lespreance, the General Manager. She is following in the foot-steps of her mother and possesses fantastic customer management skills. Besides her there are other professionals and experts who add value to our highly professional and dynamic team.
